Expert Services for Adult Psychiatry

Psychiatric care for adults focuses on conditions that affect emotional well-being, cognition, and daily functioning. Dr. Tayyab provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment planning tailored to each patient’s clinical needs.

Care is individualized and grounded in careful clinical judgment. When appropriate, treatment may involve collaboration with therapists, psychologists, or other medical providers. The practice is structured to support thoughtful, longitudinal care rather than brief or episodic visits.

Your Path to Wellness with Dr. Tayyab

  • New patients are asked to contact the office directly to begin the intake process. This allows the practice to ensure appropriate scheduling, gather necessary information, and support continuity of care.

Dr. Tayyab is open to a structured introductory phone consultation for new patients. Following this conversation, patients may be offered the option to schedule an initial appointment, if appropriate.

    For new patient inquiries:

    Phone: 847-680-2715 (Ext. 223)
    Email: cprice@counselingconnections.net

  • The initial appointment involves a comprehensive medical and psychiatric assessment. After reviewing current concerns, history, and contributing factors, a preliminary clinical formulation is developed.

This typically leads to discussion of:

    • Medication options, including benefits and potential side effects

    • Therapy recommendations, when appropriate

    • Lifestyle considerations such as sleep, stress, and nutrition

    • Laboratory testing or referrals if clinically indicated

Patients are encouraged to ask questions. Thoughtful discussion is a central part of the visit.

  • Follow-up visits focus on assessing functioning and response to treatment over time. This includes evaluating symptom changes, reviewing side effects, and making adjustments as needed. Care is designed to remain responsive as circumstances and clinical needs evolve.
